Virtual Tour Shows Demolition Phase of IBS Show Home

Fresh from their successes at NAHB’s most recent International Builders’ Show, the 2018 Show in Orlando, Fla. will feature two official show houses: The New American Home and The New American Remodeled Home.

The footings are in place at the new home, while work on the remodeled home—a 1930s Mediterranean-style estate just outside of downtown Orlando—  is also well underway.

Farina & Sons, Inc. intends to preserve much of the original home’s character, while demonstrating to home builders, remodelers and the general public how today’s building techniques and products can turn a nearly 80-year-old home into a showcase of modern technology and energy efficiency.

It is anticipated the home will achieve Emerald status, the highest certified level of high performance and sustainability in the National Green Building Standard.

An official unveiling of the home will take place during the 2018 NAHB International Builders’ Show, Jan. 9-11.
